L'Alpe d'Huez is an internationally renowned ski resort. It was baptized "The Island in the Sun" because of its exceptional sunshine (300 days a year). The station also offers an exceptional off-piste area with no less than 70 routes. Beginners are not left behind since the resort offers more than 30 green runs.

Getting There
Access to Alpe d'Huez is rather simple due to its proximity to Grenoble. For those who want to come by train, go to Grenoble station which is very well served. All you have to do is take a shuttle that will take you to the resort in just 1 hour.
If you prefer the car, consider ride-sharing apps. It is economical and ecological.
The resort offers a free shuttle service to get you around with complete peace of mind throughout the season.
